Erik is a Filipino American film-maker working out of Nashville, TN. Being plucked from the west coast and dropped into the American South, he brings the perspective of an outsider trying to fit in with Southern society. Subconsciously, Erik started to forget about his Filipino culture but a resurgence has awoken in him, generating stories about family, isolation, addiction, exclusion, and the deep unknown, often teetering the line between reality and fantasy. Pouring his whole self into everything he writes, directs, and edits, Erik jumps into his work with earnest vigor and passion. He uses his ongoing river of curiosity to create works of art that he hopes go beyond him and opens the minds of others.
